Privacy Policy

Detail Kings is operated by Detail Kings LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you visit our website, book a service, or contact us, and how we use it.

What we collect

  • Contact and booking details: your name, phone number, email, service address, vehicle details and notes you give us.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep the amount, date and a Stripe reference.
  • Job records: before/after photos, condition notes and your signature confirming the vehicle's condition. Photos are only published (for example in our gallery) after we remove location data and never show plates or personal items we notice.
  • Messages: a log of texts and emails we send you about your booking.
  • Feedback you choose to give us after a job.
  • Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser) kept for security, and a cookie that keeps you signed in if you use your account page.

How we use it

  • To schedule, perform and bill for your service, and to contact you about it.
  • To send reminders, "on my way" texts and a feedback request after your job.
  • To run memberships, gift cards and referral rewards you sign up for.
  • To keep records required for taxes and accounting, and to protect against fraud.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the business, under their own privacy terms: Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messages), our email provider, Google (reviews, if you choose to leave one) and our hosting provider. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept for as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes (generally 7 years). Job photos are kept for up to 2 years unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Backups are kept for 14 days.

Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. You can still receive emails about bookings you make.
  • Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing info@detail-kings.com. Some records (such as payments) must be kept for legal reasons.

Children

Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
